Toby LeCouix is Oklahoma-born but California-raised, and after high school she returned to the land of tornadoes and the Oklahoma State Cowboys. As a young sailor, Toby first became involved in the safety field by conducting equipment inspections and ensuring deployment readiness. Back in civilian life, Toby worked as an EHS Coordinator for automotive and aerospace manufacturing facilities. She is currently the EHS Manager for Berry Global, the global leader in plastic packaging.
Toby holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Safety from the University of Central Oklahoma and a Masters of Science in Emergency Services from Columbia Southern University. She is a Certified Safety and Health Official, an Occupational Hygiene and Safety Technician, and a Certified Safety Professional. Toby has been a member of the ASSP OKC Chapter for several years and is a member of WISE. She likes mentoring the next generation of safety professionals and teaching practical approaches to real-life safety issues..
