October Chapter Meeting

This session provides a comprehensive overview of trenching and excavation safety for oil and gas, construction, and field service environments.  Participants will learn how to recognize excavation hazards, implement protective systems, and comply with OSHA 29 CFR 1926 Subpart P.  The class will cover practical strategies for hazard identification, soil classification, and planning, as well as the role of the Competent Person in daily inspections.  Attendees will leave with actionable tools to enhance safety culture, reduce risks, and ensure compliance on all trenching and excavation projects.
